Residential Lease

A residential lease is a contract that obligates both parties to a specified period of time, (e.g. 6 months or a year). The specific terms are set forth and cannot be altered unless the lease provides for that. Leases are not automatically renewed and cannot be terminated prior to the expiration date unless lease terms are violated.
